Julie, Your going to laugh out loud when I tell you the Stuart is my Fiance', he is sitting right here at his desk and I'm at mine. Stuart and I met on Ovation he used to use those great comments on me and well they turned my head and I wrote some to him next thing you know he comes to Florida to meet me and he hasn't gone back to Oklahoma in 3 and 1/2 years. So you could say I've seen his work. LOL

Julie Dant replied:

Susan!....I'd read this back when you sent it..and then stuff happened and I got away from getting back on FAA..and then I had forgotten which pic you'd commented on and I just now found it again, since Bob made his comment! Sorry about the long time in my response. And I DID laugh out loud as soon as you said Stuart is your Fiance' and he was sitting right next to you!! THAT WAS funny, that I was suggesting to you to look at his work!! .... ;0)) I'm happy to have met you both separately and feel like a friend to you now as a couple. So cool! How wonderful for you both to have met each other through art, too! ;0) Anyway..I just wanted to explain why the long delay. Thanks again for all your support, Susan..and tell Stuart the same for me. ;0)

Julie, This shot is fabulous it's after my own heart. My Grandma had a sewing machine much like this one and it brings memories of her flooding into my heart also the apron, she wore aprons made all of them on that machine. Your composition and storyteller skills are stellar. I'm telling you print a book!!! THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY GOOD ONES TO BUY. I don't have enough walls... LOL. I gotta win Lotto. Look at Diggypod publishing cheap prices. Favs /vote

Julie Dant replied:

Susan, you are one of the world's best ego booster! ;0) Thank you so much for your exceptionally kind and supportive comments. Sooo sweet of you! You might have read Stuart Harrison's little story about my photo and thought it was mine? He's amazing in his comments, always. I knew him on another site and he found me on here. A super nice guy and always has a good story to read, you should check out his work. As for my photo bringing such good memories back to you about your grandma...I am really happy to know that. That's what my old nostalgic subjects are all about. There is always something in them that hearkens back to my childhood, too. My mother had one of these sewing machines and I learned to sew on it, too. ;0)) I can still remember loving the rhythm my feet would get into when pushing on the treadle while sewing a long line, such as on a quilt. ;0) Thank you. I really DO want to publish. I'll definitely check out Diggypod. I've not heard of that one! Thanks hon...SOOOO much!

If you listen carefully you can hear the children playing out side, soon to be gathered around the picnic table. Giggling far to loud for Grandpa's comfort, they try in vain to wait quietly for Grandma to bring out some her refreshing lemon aid. v/fav

Julie Dant replied:

Stuart, thank you! You always make me smile with your written 'scenarios' about my photos! Much appreciated, my friend! ;0))
