This is an old government issue privy that is still standing on my brother's property high up on a bluff looking over the White River. It was there when he bought the place. Old privys are of interest to me, as I grew up in a house with no indoor bathroom for several years. Not a pleasant experience, as I remember it, but one we didn't question when we were young.
