My name is Julie Riker Dant and I live in the small town of Washington, in southwestern Indiana, in the United States. In the mid to late 90's, I began searching out and documenting with black and white photographs, old abandoned houses all over Indiana, the Midwest, Southeast and Deep South, with the intention of publishing a pictorial book one day. I didn't see your HDR of Indy but from what I did see I think you should try your hand at digital painting.....I think a few of your Beautifully colored fall photos would look AMAZING Painted :)

Hi David! Why Thank you very much for such a kind comment and suggestions! I actually would love to try digital painting. I'm pretty sure I would love it, once I got the hang of it. I have CS3, but I'm very unskilled at using it. It's very overwhelming for me. So I keep using an old version of Paint Shop Pro which is where I use the clone tool most of the time. I clone so much that I sometimes feel as though I AM painting...making shadows longer and curving them by dragging the tool ..lol. Do you do digital painting? Thanks a bunch, David.
