An old abandoned house with blue trim caught my eye while driving down a narrow country road in Southern Indiana, so I walked to it and walked all around, as I always do if I can, and on the back side..there was this one lone cluster of beautiful Daffodyls. I thought to myself. Someone's grandma probably planted them right there so she could see them when she looked out that window. It was a mix of melancholy and delight to see them. This is one of my most favorite of my abandoned house photos. I call them Solemn Relics.
