My name is Julie Riker Dant and I live in the small town of Washington, in southwestern Indiana, in the United States. In the mid to late 90's, I began searching out and documenting with black and white photographs, old abandoned houses all over Indiana, the Midwest, Southeast and Deep South, with the intention of publishing a pictorial book one day. Great find and work, Julie. I imagine at one time it was a sight to see when it was painted, and with all of the intricate woodwork along the eaves of the roof gables.

Me, too, Eva. I produced a video on all the b/w images of Indiana's abandoned houses back in 2007. Called it Solemn Relics. I can't drive by a newly discovered one without stopping and documenting it. They'll all be gone soon. ;0) Thank you so much for commenting! ;0)
