All my photographs on FAA are copyright protected and may not be reproduced, copied, or used for any purpose without my express consent. Hello! My name is Julie Riker Dant and I live in the small town of Washington, in southwestern Indiana, in the United States. In the mid to late 90's, I began searching out and documenting with black and white photographs, old abandoned houses all over Indiana, the Midwest, Southeast and Deep South, with the intention of publishing a pictorial book one day. Magnificent. My Mom would have loved your work. Just beautiful, thank you for capturing this for posterity. That tree hanging down like that is amazing and won't last like that forever the barn either.

Thanks again, Susan! Yes..you are correct. I started my compulsion into photography when I began going out in search of old abandoned houses to take photos of...and from there it just graduated to barns and any other old structure or nostalgic object..and then to nature it'self. These old barns and houses are disappearing rapidly, so I am also happy that I have documented so many in my state of Indiana and other states as well.
