I found this little still life down in the basement of an old abandoned house. The bright blue color of the wood behind the items seemed to me to glorify them somehow.

I am not in the least surprised Julie that your this was accepted into the juried art show. If this isn't the photo which has taken out an award then I would love to see the other photo! Coming to think of it, I would love to see it anyway.

Hey Mal! ;0) This is one of two of my works that was just accepted by a juried art show at the Krempp Gallery in Jasper, IN.. to be diplayed in the month of September. They were my only submissions and one of them (I won't know which one till Sept. ) received an award...which, again, I won't know which award it is till Sept.) Anyway...I'm very honored and excited. ;0)
